Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in implementing and updating the overall risk management process for the organization (this will be an ongoing process with reporting dates set for each specific project).
  • Assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in conducting periodical audits of the key business processes in line with the ICRM and the policy circulars issued by the group (the idea is to conduct at least 1 internal audit every two months for a specific process – the dates and times will be established once the audit plan and program is finalized for each audit).
  • Assist the Risk & Compliance Manager with also GMS led audits.
  • Assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in ensuring effective close-out of all issues arising from internal audits, audits by GMS and ICRM related issues.
  • Play a key role in liaising with all concerned parties for claims management, which have now increased substantially, and ensuring a quick closure and settlement of all valid claims (again, an ongoing process where this resource will be playing an active role in finalizing the claims).
  • Ensure the Risk & Compliance Manager in quick disposal of claims related cases including coordination with the Insurance Company & Surveyors to arrange quick claims disbursement.
  • Ensure updates to claims register and assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in effective monitoring of the claims status sheets.
  • Design and assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in developing the audit work plan (linked to point 2 above) & also framing and development of policies and procedures with the aim of optimizing company processes (framing of the latter would require effective coordination and liaison across the various sections in Finance and also with that of other departments e.g. Operations led functions in the Company).
  • Assist in ensuring payments are approved as per group policy (ongoing process – as and when payments become due and are sent for approval in respect of claims).

  • Valid Oman & GCC driving license holder preferred


  • Proficient in spoken and written English; Spoken knowledge of Arabic and/or Chinese will be an added advantage.
